Marblehead Municipal Light Department and Adjoining Public Lands Expanded Analysis and Design for Coastal Resilience

Barbara will introduce the project and seek comments from the community. Coastal resilient design options will include long-term retrofits and adaptations to reduce flooding given projected climate impacts from higher tides and greater storm surge, while expanding public access and water-related activities at four Town-owned properties along Marblehead Harbor. These properties include Parkers Boat Yard, Marblehead Municipal Light Department, Hammond Park, Marblehead Yacht Club, and Marblehead Trading Company. Barbara is the project manager for the Town on this grant that is funded by MA Coastal Zone Management Coastal Resilience Grant FY22.
