Traffic Safety Advisory Committee

What We Do:

The Traffic Safety Advisory Committee helps to implement the Marblehead Complete Streets Policy and evaluate public safety issues involving traffic, roads and other transportation and infrastructure in town. 

Organization:

The Traffic Safety Advisory Committee was established by a vote at the 2023 Annual Town Meeting (Article 49).  Members are appointed by the Select Board to include 3 residents for a term of 3 years, staggered, as well as Town department heads, or designees, responsible for public safety, transportation and infrastructure.

When We Meet:

The Traffic and Safety Advisory Committee meets monthly and reports to the Select Board quarterly any data and activities and to make recommendations.
