Community Ice Rink

The Ice Rink Committee published a survey in the Spring  to solicit feedback on increasing recreational opportunities and building an ice rink in Marblehead. The formation of the Committee and its work to-date is a result of a generous gift to support recreational activities in Town with a focus and preference to support winter sports such as public skating and ice hockey. The Board of Selectmen and the Recreation and Park Commission formed this committee which is now working with an ice rink expert to assist in the feasibility, location and costs of construction an ice rink in Marblehead. As part of the committee’s work it is seeking input through a variety of methods, one being the online survey. The committee also intends to host a virtual public forum to gain further insight from residents. To view the results of the survey visit Here.
