Mission Statement:
To empower older adults to age well, engage in the community, and enrich their lives.
What We Do:
The Marblehead Council on Aging (COA) serves as an elder advocate and offers services and programming designed to promote healthy aging. The COA also offers a wide variety of creative arts, fitness, health, nutrition and recreation programs, in addition to health screenings, health insurance counseling (SHINE) and transportation services. An Outreach Coordinator is available to assist seniors and their families in identifying and accessing appropriate community services, as well as assisting those who are faced with unexpected or unfamiliar concerns as they age. The COA is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Our monthly newsletter is located online on our website or a paper copy is located in the Community Center’s main lobby.
