The Patricia Lockwood Bach Scholarship for the Arts is pleased to announce a Saturday May 12th at 6:30PM fundraising event at Marblehead Little Theatre,12 School Street. The scholarship makes funds available to high school graduating seniors who intend to pursue higher education in the creative arts. Patricia Bach, who passed away in 2016, was the mother of local resident and business owner Stephen Bach.

The featured guest performers of the evening will be NYC recording artists Brad Cole and Robinson Treacher. No Depression (The Journal of Roots Music) says,  “Cole’s voice is a captivating, well weathered croon, and he proves he can glide from genre to genre in the blink of an eye.” And from Amazon about Robinson: “Whether in the studio or in live performance, Robinson s emotionally dramatic songwriting style is matched only by his deeply passionate vocals.” In addition, Robinson just won Best EP in the Roots/Country category at the 16th Annual Independent Music Awards.

In addition to headliners Cole and Treacher, performers will include this year’s winners of Marblehead’s Got Talent: Eliza Howells, Gracie Curran and George MacDonald; Accidentally on Purpose Comedy Improv Troupe; and the phenomenal teen guitarist and singer Quentin Callawaert.

There will food, libations and wonderful silent auction and raffle items, including (at press time): two luxury Red Sox box seats to two different games, Warwick movie passes, artisan jewelry, a clambake for 20 from Old Fashioned Clambakes, photography and art prints from local artists, plus local gift certificates and many other items. The performance sponsor of the fundraiser is The Digital Docs of Marblehead. Tickets at https://plbfundraiser2018.eventbrite.com.

Doors open at 6:30PM on Saturday, May 12.  The cost is $30 per ticket.
