Auditions for Children of Eden

Marblehead Little Theatre announces non-equity auditions for Children of Eden. Children of Eden is being produced by David Levy, directed by Andrea Giangreco with musical direction by Gina Naggar. Music by Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin, Wicked). Book by John Caird (Jane Eyre, Daddy Long Legs).
Children of Eden follows the book of Genesis beginning with The Father’s creation of Adam and Eve through Noah and the great flood.
Auditions are by appointment and will be held on are Monday, December 11 and Tuesday, December 12 at the Marblehead Little Theatre Firehouse, 12 School Street in Marblehead. Walk-ins will audition as time allows. Callbacks are by invitation and will be held on December 13. Vocal Auditions will be from 7pm-9pm each night. Please prepare two contrasting 32 bar cuts of music for your vocal audition. Be advised, there may only be time to hear one piece.
There will be a dance call following all the vocal auditions at 9pm. Please come prepared to dance with comfortable shoes – no flip flops, no bare feet. Rehearsals will begin in early February and will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Production dates are April 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
