Volunteer Opportunities

The Marblehead Council on Aging depends upon its volunteers to help deliver many of its programs, services and activities to Marblehead’s Senior Citizens. COA volunteers are a talent and time network that drives programs and services farther and deeper into the community.

Volunteers help with monthly newsletters, COA programs, services and activities, office duties, classes, and community events. They serve meals and monitor the COA Fitness Center. Volunteers welcome visitors to the Center, make the morning coffee and offer tours. On-site and off-site sports – such as our golf, bocce, curling, and chair volleyball programs all are facilitated by COA volunteers.

If you would like to keep active and be enriched by community service, while at the same time help our local senior citizens, please consider becoming a volunteer. There are many opportunities available in our lively community. All volunteers are subject to a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) background check.

Please contact the COA Director, Lisa Hooper, at (781) 631-6225 for more information or complete the Volunteer Application and CORI Form and we will contact you.

THANK YOU for thinking of volunteering at the COA.
