Abbot Public Library offers the following services and programs for the enrichment of patrons of all ages:

Children:

  •         AARP Tax Preparation for low income & senior individuals.
  •         Book Clubs  
  •         Book Delivery Service
  •         Technology Assistance
  •         Research guidance

Local History and Special Collections:  The contents of the Marblehead Room, which contains materials about the Town’s history is unavailable during renovations.  

Meeting Rooms:  The library currently has one meeting room available for public use. (capacity = 49)

Library of Things:  Check out our book club kits, mobile hotspots, Chromebooks, a projector, a tool kit, a sewing machine and a graphing calculator.  

The Virginia A. Carten Gallery, which displays artwork by local artists, is closed during renovations.  The library will begin to accept applications in Fall 2023.
