Marblehead Condo Fire Intentionally Set
Officials Seek Public's HelpMarblehead Police Chief James R. Carney, Fire Chief Barry C. Dixey and State Fire Marshal Stephen D. Coan announced the cause of the November 12, 2005 condominium fire at 36 Intrepid Circle was arson. The fire is being jointly investigated by investigators in the Marblehead Fire Department and the Marblehead Police Department, State Police assigned to the Office of the State Fire Marshal, and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The Arson Watch Reward Program will offer up to $5,000 for information that helps solve this case. State Fire Marshal Coan said, "Anyone with information is asked to call the
