- FORMS: All forms may be picked up at the office (Marblehead Community Center, 10 Humphrey Street); most are available for print in the links below.
- SUBMITTING: Please submit forms and payments to the office (NO FAXES PLEASE!). PLEASE NOTE: All forms must be completed and signed or they will be returned; please read the applications carefully!
- SECURITY DEPOSITS: Due at the time of application for facility and park permits. Please use a check made out to "The Town of Marblehead".
- FEES: We accept checks made out to "The Town of Marblehead" or cash (exact amounts appreciated!). Sorry, the Town does not accept credit cards. Payments are due within 2 weeks after approval for facility and park permits; all other fees are due at the time of application.
- INSURANCE: The Town requires proof of liability insurance to approve some permits from an insurance provider of your choice. See the permit applications for more information.
- APPROVAL: Special requests (requests not specified on the application) may need to go before the Board for approval at their next regularly scheduled meeting. Approved permits are kept at the office and copies may be obtained during regular business hours.
- RESTRICTIONS: By Law no open fires (bonfires) or alcohol are allowed in any Recreation & Parks properties or facilities.
- REFUNDS: Refund requests must be received AT LEAST 5 business days in writing before the scheduled event. Sorry, but we do not give refunds for rain outs (we can't control the weather!).

NOTE: Weekend facility rentals usually take up to 4 business days to coordinate approval and staffing. Special requests go before the Commission at their next regularly scheduled meeting for approval and any fees or restrictions.

The Center is for Community use; it cannot be used for any commercial activities or by private businesses for business/advertising purposes. Solicitation is prohibited.
Please remember that the Center is a multi - use
facility and events may occur simultaneously.

- Chandler Hovey (Location of Marblehead Lighthouse) - Wedding ceremonies
NOTES:
- No open fires (bonfires) or alcohol are allowed on any properties under the jurisdiction of Recreation & Parks (Code of the Town of Marblehead § 236-1).
- The large pavilion at Devereux beach (by the bathrooms) is for the use of the general public at all times.
- There are no public outdoor electrical outlets at the parks.
- Parks cannot be closed to the public for private use.
- All Park Department athletic fields are for Town of Marblehead sponsored sports teams, Town sponsored recreation programs, and resident's use and cannot be reserved or rented privately.
- ALL WEDDINGS & LARGE EVENTS REQUIRE LIABILITY INSURANCE (See form for more information).

Park properties cannot be used commercially or by private businesses for business/advertising purposes. Solicitation is prohibited.

Orne Garden Permit - Residents only - May to November
This permit reserves a plot in the Orne Community Garden at Bud Orne Playground on Evans Road. Space is very limited and there is a seasonal waiting list. Permit holder is responsible for clearing and maintaining plot. No running water is available. |

RESIDENT Tennis Permits for Seaside Park tennis courts: Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day
- Permits issued at the office ONLY (10 Humphrey St) during regular business hours (we cannot reserve by phone).
- Permits may be obtained up to 2 days in advance; 3 days on Fridays (office is closed on weekends and legal holidays).
- 1 Permit per resident per day ONLY (No exceptions).
- Good for 1 hour of singles or 2 hours of doubles.
- Please call to cancel so we know the court is available.
- Sorry, no refunds!
- 6 courts (Court 1 is closest to the grandstands).
- NO PRIVATE LESSONS ARE ALLOWED ON COURTS.
