Payment of tickets received for parking violations occurring in Marblehead are paid directly to the Parking Clerk located at the Selectmen’s Office, Abbot Hall.

To Appeal a Parking Ticket
To appeal a ticket received for a parking violation, the recipient must file a written request for a hearing. The request should include the name, address and telephone number of the recipient and a copy of the ticket. Any pictures, drawings or other pertinent information may also be included.

The request for a hearing should be mailed to the attention of the Parking Clerk, Selectmen’s Office, Abbot Hall.

The Parking Clerk will contact the individual filing the appeal to set up a hearing date.

Winter Parking Ban
"It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle, other than one acting in an emergency, to park on any street said vehicle for a period of time longer than one (1) hour between the hours of 12 A.M. and 7 A.M. of any day between between November 1 and April 15.
