When We Meet
Abbot Public Library Board of Trustee meetings are posted and open to the public. Meetings are usually held on the first Monday of the month at 6:15 pm in the Marblehead Room at the Library.  If this changes, there is a posting in the Library and at Abbot Hall.

What We Do
The Abbot Public Library operation is overseen by the Board of Trustees, a six member board elected for staggered three-year terms. Meetings are posted and open to the public. The main responsibilities of the Trustees include hiring and evaluating the library director, establishing policy and plans, determining the final budget and conducting public relations.
