For Curbside Pickup:
Weekly and daily updates on waste collection and altered days of collection are available at www.marblehead.org under news announcements. For general questions, please call the Health Department at (781) 631-0212.
Missed Trash/Recycling Pickup:
For missed trash or recycle pickup, please call Republic Services directly @800-323-4285. Please remember that it is unacceptable to place recyclables in plastic bags.
The curbside collection of leaves and grass will take place on your regular scheduled trash and recycling days on the following weeks:
2023 2024
- November 6 April 22
- November 27 May 13
- December 11 June 3
* Leaf Bags Only
*No plastic bags will be collected or emptied.
*This is a leaves/grass-only collection.
*Bags containing brush or other material will not be collected. This type of material affects the quality of the compost generated from leaves.
*No collection will occur on a Legal Holiday.
Holiday Schedule:
Trash and recycling pick-up will be delayed by one day and the Transfer Station will be closed on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King's Birthday
- President's Day
- Patriots' Day
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Indigenous People's Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day

You can dispose of a refrigerator, freezer or air conditioner at Turner Trucking and Salvage on Commercial Street in Lynn. Please call them at (781) 595-3741 for more information.
