What We Do

The responsibility for the harbors and public waterfront areas rests with two agencies, the Harbormaster and the Harbors and Waters Board, to which the Harbormaster reports.  All positions are appointed by the Board of Selectmen.

The Harbors and Waters Board recommends and implements programs for the efficient and equitable utilization of Marblehead waters, one of the busiest harbor complexes in New England.

When We Meet

The Harbor and Waters Board meets at the Harbormaster's Quarters at 7:30 PM on the first Monday of each month.
